Complete The Application Form

Tej Acton Academy (the “School”) has sole discretion in making admission determinations. Admissions decisions are made thoughtfully, based primarily on the family’s and the School’s shared vision regarding educational approaches and practices. There is no preference given for the date your application is received, although we may give priority to siblings of current students. Do you accept these terms?
How did you hear about Tej Acton Academy?
Name, Birthdate and Gender of each child you are applying for:
Earliest date you would like to start your child in school?
How long do you want your child to attend Tej Acton Academy?:
Please provide the names and attendance dates of the schools your children have attended:
Has your child been dismissed, suspended (in or out of school), placed on probation, asked to withdraw, withdrawn with discipline pending, denied reenrollment, or received other significant disciplinary action from school?
What would we need to know about your child to serve them well? For example, allergies, fears, developmental challenges, medical history, medications, or previous classroom behavioral challenges? (write N/A if none apply)
Our experience shows that, on average, for every 1 year your child was in traditional school, he/she will take 3 months to adjust to Tej Acton’s learner-driven environment. Being a lifelong learner is a long game, are you willing to give your child the time needed to grow?
Imagine you are teaching your child to ride a bike without training wheels for the first time and he/she falls and starts crying. How would you react?
What do you expect from Tej Acton Academy for your child? What do you hope your child will gain from a self-paced and learner-driven environment?
When it comes to education, how do you define success or failure for your child?
